THESE ARE OUR FEW SEASONS is the outpouring of an ongoing relationship with the writing of Annie Dillard – the nonfiction work Pilgrim at Tinker Creek serving as guidebook for the text and images produced in this form.

Typographical ornaments from the collection of Macy Chadwick were letterpress printed at In Cahoots Residency, Petaluma, California on Moab Entrada Rag. Archival pigment prints of photographs made on 35mm, 120mm, and Polaroid Round Edition film using a Zenza Bronica, Polaroid SX-70 Sonar, Kodak Brownie, and Pentax k1000 cameras. Additional images of found objects rendered with an Epson V700 film scanner.Text for “These are our few seasons (a companion)” is set in Cormorant Garamond, printed on Kitakata washi.
